The Region

Located on the east coast of New Zealand’s North Island, Hawke's Bay is the country’s oldest and second-largest wine region. Warm sunshine, a temperate climate, and a long growing season help Sauvignon Blanc develop ripe tropical fruit flavours while maintaining vibrant acidity. Fertile soils ranging from gravel to sandy loam add freshness and complexity, producing wines with expressive aromatics, bright citrus, and a crisp, refreshing finish.
